Middle Ground Light metal print by Vic Delnore. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. This graphite is of the Middle Ground Lighthouse, situated off Newport News, Virginia. In the background is the James River Bridge and parts of the Newport News skyline. This drawing was selected for the 2009 Mid-Atlantic Art Show of the D'Art Center in Norfolk, Virginia, and is one of a series of six graphites of Hampton Roads.
About Vic Delnore
Having been introduced to landscapes and seascapes by his artist mother, and with influence from his wife with a background in graphic arts, Vic Delnore has developed his own interpretations of landscapes, abstracts, and artistic scenes in graphite, pen and ink, oil, water media, and charcoal. His initial art training was in composition and perspective in The Hague, The Netherlands, followed by instruction in story illustration, pen-and-ink graphics at RPI, figure drawing and calligraphy at MIT/Harvard and ODU, and under nationally known instructors in watercolor and related media.
